SB 463

In plain English

Extends the employer child care expenditure tax credit through July 1, 2027. Allows students at least 15 years old to volunteer as caregivers in their school's child care program before finishing the usual volunteer requirements, and limits how strict Indiana's child care center staff-to-child ratios and group sizes can be compared with the average of Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, and Ohio. It also makes other changes.
